presentation overview

As dogs live longer, many caregivers notice changes that are difficult to explain using age alone. Some dogs remain active and resilient well into old age, while others struggle with everyday activities despite having stable medical test results. This session introduces the concept of frailty in ageing dogs, a syndrome that reflects loss of physical and functional reserve rather than specific disease.
