Julia Robertson
Julia Robertson is a prominent figure and leader in the field of canine myotherapy, known for her substantial contributions. Her work has had a significant impact globally, particularly in understanding and addressing adaptive change in dogs, which has helped improve the lives of many.
As the founder of Galen Myotherapy, Julia has treated numerous dogs and has also trained many individuals in her techniques. She developed Positive P.A.C.T.®, Galen’s unique 'choice led treatment' methodology, demonstrating her commitment to compassionate care for animals experiencing pain. Additionally, her efforts to highlight the connection between canine pain and behaviour led to the creation of the Galen Comfort Scale©, a tool now used
in studies and treatments worldwide.
Julia has established herself as an expert through her published works, which include four books and two DVDs, such as the widely respected 'Tongue to Tail.' Her books, including ‘How to Build a Puppy into a Healthy Adult Dog’,
'Physical Therapy and Massage for the Dog' and 'The Complete Dog Massage Manual,' are valuable resources for dog owners, trainers, students, therapists, and veterinary professionals.
Her ongoing commitment to advancing canine myotherapy continues to influence how we understand and care for our canine companions.

dr. cat henstridge
Cat graduated from Bristol Vet School in 2003 and has worked ever since in first opinion small animal practice.
Very quickly into her career she developed a passion for client communication and collaboration, particularly in chronic disease cases, and she still gets a huge amount of satisfaction from working as a team with her colleagues and the owners to ensure her patients have the best outcomes and lives.
As an extension of this interest she began writing a blog, which then progressed to social media pages, where she writes about all the things that interest her in the veterinary and pet space, and she has built a reputation as a trusted and strong voice in the sector.
She is delighted and honoured to be taking part in the CAM symposium!
